(More customer reviews)The original trucks are primarily designed for cruising & carving. The mechanism is different from the traditional truck design. It uses a spring loaded cam instead of bushings. There are 3 color coded springs with corresponding tensions (black, red, white). You can fine tune the tension further by adjusting the travel of the cam. I personally use standard black (lowest tension) on my S8 200mm trucks. The set-up is perfect for longboarding slalom and carving. I recommend using higher tension springs (red & white) to avoid wobbles during high speeds but I personally think that traditional bushing trucks have better feel on this category. I still gave this truck a 5 star rating because it absolutely fits my riding style. Certainly worth owning a set!
